Come and get inspired to live your best life as inspirational speaker and yoga instructor Dan Nevins, a U.S. Army Iraq combat veteran who lost both legs below the knee in a roadside bomb attack while he was serving in Iraq in 2004, comes to lead two days of workshops in Huntington. Dan Nevins is a combat veteran and Baptiste Yoga teacher who travels the world sharing his yoga journey with others.  This workshop is open to all levels of yogis.  Attendees will hear Dan's incredible story and practice self-inquiry and asana.  All proceeds of this donation-based workshop will go towards Dan's Wounded Warrior Retreat, a center based in Florida which serves veterans by using yoga and other mindfulness based activities to heal the invisible wounds of war.

Nevin will lead two limited-space workshops at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 1, and 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 2, at the The Space on 8th, 919 8th St., Huntington.

Workshop reservations are $40 with money being donated to the Warrior Spirit Retreat Center, where Nevins and his staff help provide nature-based recovery to other veterans via activities such as yoga, fly fishing, boating, and equestrian training.
