Route 60 Saturday Night

September 16

Route 60 Music | 60 Peyton St | Barboursville

7 pm - 8:30 pm

This is the launch of a new monthly 90-minute music variety show to showcase new and established talent and to raise funds for assorted area charities. Hosted by broadcast veterans Randy Yohe and Michelle Lewis, Route 60 Saturday Night!, set for the third Saturday of each month, will feature The 1937 Flood as the house band and highlight a special segment with the show's storyteller-in-residence, newspaper columnist Dave Peyton.

In addition, each month's show will feature new and established musical acts as guest artists. Headlining the upcoming inaugural show will be two exciting young singer-songwriters:

– Sasha Colette, an Olive Hill, Ky., native who with her group, the Magnolias, makes a soulful, bluesy mix of folk and rock, what one critic called a “sweet mix of hillbilly meets hippie, and

– Traci Ann Stanley, a Prichard native who parlayed her job in a radio sales department to featured time on the other side of the mike to opening for touring Nashville stars including LeAnn Rimes, Kelli Pickler, and even superstar Kenny Chesney.

Proceeds for the first show will be donated to Facing Hunger Foodbank, 1327 7th Avenue, Huntington, WV. Admission will be a $5 donation.
